McDonalds : AVATAR
Gauge Design assisted conception with AKQA around a promotional site enabling the user to drive around and capture images of an alien world. This was to promote awareness for the upcoming release of the James Cameron movie AVATAR. In the end, cheeseburgers and fries prevailed.

These concpetual maps looked at the different levels of engagement that the consumer could interact with the AR technology, in-store and online.
UX Wireframes
A sci-fi themed interface was to portray the astronauts communicating with loved ones back on earth. Intrigue and motion-based elements were integral.
