Microsoft : Zune Store 2.0

Zune! For the (at least) half-dozen consumers who actually owned a Zune, the Marketplace store was where they would go to browse, share and purchase media. This process involved multiple trips to the Redmond office to discuss product development with the internal Microsoft team of the Home & Entertainment division.

Client-conducted usability interviews provided general direction around importance of feature set and developmental needs.

Understanding the overall process in which a Zune user would browse / purchase / sync their media helped guide the architecture of the application.

Site Structure Diagrams

Within each section, structure maps helped identify any anomalies within a specific media-type (video / podcasts / music), allowing for these unique variables to be addressed early.
