eBay : eBay Motors

Working with AKQA, a re-concepting of eBay and their Motor Services offering provided new direction and concept for the online auction site. Content was reassessed and a new, more sophisticated brand direction was proposed for the eBay Motors channel.

UX Wireframes

Page-level wireframes restructured the page to position the search and filter functionality to a more prominent position.

Brand Development

The darker, more mature brand direction was meant to cater towards a more male-oriented audience than the generic ebay site.

Design Comps

Visual design mandated a more controlled color pallete, with duotone applications for some of the personal story profile pictures.
